Refund Policy
General Policy (Non-NYS Courses)
Radiant will provide a full refund of the course fee if a student cancels at any time before the start of the course and does not attend. Refunds are unavailable if students fail their courses. Within 60 days of purchase, full refunds are issued to the original payment method. After 60 days, students receive school credit valid for one year. No refunds or credits apply after one year from purchase.
When Radiant cancels courses, refunds are issued to the original payment method, or by corporate check upon request. All course fees paid by the student are non-transferable to another person. Before class begins, cancellations receive full refunds. On or after the class date, students receive either full course credit or 50% reimbursement.
NYS-Mandated Security Courses
The initial provisions mirror the general policy regarding pre-course cancellations and the 60- and 365-day timelines. Additionally, students who skip scheduled security courses will not be registered with the NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services.
For 16-hour On-the-Job courses specifically, the student will be entitled to a 50% refund if the student cancels after the start of instruction, but before the start of the second 8-hour block. Training schools cannot impose non-refundable fees or deposits per regulations.
