This course must be completed after the Eight Hour Pre-Assignment Training Course for Security Guards or within 90 days after employment as a security guard. This course includes a discussion of the responsibilities relevant to security guard functions. Topics include work site requirements and the needs of the employer.

Class registration

Classes are scheduled on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Students must attend both days.

To register and pay to reserve a seat with a debit, credit, or charge card, please call (212) 213-3434. Radiant accepts Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express, and JCB.

You may also register and pay in person before the scheduled class date. Radiant accepts money orders, corporate checks, certified personal checks, credit cards, debit cards, charge cards, and cash.

Please arrive to class on time because classes start promptly.

2026 scheduled dates

Scheduled Tuesday/Wednesday class pairs include June 23/24, July 7/8, July 21/22, August 4/5, August 18/19, September 8/9, September 22/23, October 6/7, October 20/21, November 3/4, November 17/18, December 8/9, and December 22/23.

  • Please arrive on time. Seats may be released to another student if you do not arrive by 9:00 a.m., and you will need to reschedule.
